Harvest in the Vineyards, Harvest in the Gardens

We caught up with Culinary Gardener Tucker recently about what’s been happening in the Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens. He said they’re busy getting everything ready for K-J Tomato Festival and harvesting a variety of delicious produce like Cherry tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, spinach, lettuce, turnips, beets, radishes, fennel, carrots, chard, onions, herbs and edible flowers, all used in the K-J Reserve Wine & Food Pairing at the K-J Wine Estate & Gardens as well as at Partake by K-J. Farm-to-table in action!

Winemaster Randy also sent us this update from the vineyards: “We’re about halfway through picking Sauvignon Blanc. We just started on Pinot Noir in Monterey and Sonoma County. We’re not taking bets, but this may go down as one of the biggest harvests ever!”

Raise a glass to all harvests!
