The tomatoes in the garden are finally starting to get ripe. Not only are we feasting on fried green tomatoes, we are now enjoying sweet cherry tomatoes in simple salads and for snacking.
As the tomato season starts and you begin cooking with lots of tomatoes, you might want to try this new trick I learned. Chef Tracey showed me this cool slicing maneuver to safely cut several tomatoes at one time, so I asked her to give us a quick demo.
